Hyderabad Commissioner’s Task Force busts ginger-garlic paste unit in Rajendranagar

The Hyderabad City Commissioner’s Task Force (Jubilee Hills) raided a garlic and ginger paste unit at Rajendranagar, seizing large quantities of paste prepared in unhygienic conditions with exposure to dust and insects.

Hyderabad: The City Commissioner’s Task Force (Jubilee Hills) team on Wednesday conducted a raid at a garlic and ginger paste preparation unit and caught two persons for using chemicals. A huge quantity of the paste was seized from the unit.

On receiving information, the team raided ‘Deccan Traders’, at Rajendranagar and found the owners, Sohail Charaniya, Raheem Charaniya and Amit Charaniya, were preparing the garlic and ginger paste in unhygienic conditions and exposing it to harmful dust and insects.


In a separate case, the police raided a bakery at Katedan industrial area and caught three persons who were allegedly using spoiled eggs for preparing bakery items such as doughnuts and buns. The property was seized.
