Hyderabad: Constable ends life after video call to woman

A 35-year-old police constable, M Chandrasekhar, was found dead at his residence in Moosarambagh in the early hours of Monday. Police said he had reportedly alerted a woman about his intention to end his life before his death.

Hyderabad: A 35-year-old police constable, M Chandrasekhar, allegedly died by suicide at his residence in Shalivahan Nagar at Moosarambagh, on Monday early hours.
Chandrasekhar, who was working as a writer at the Amberpet Police Headquarters, reportedly made a video call to a woman around midnight and told her that he was going to hang himself.

The woman alerted the police, following which Malakpet police reached the spot and found him dead.

Police shifted the body to the Osmania General Hospital and registered a case.

An investigation is underway to ascertain the circumstances that led to his death.
