Hyderabad: A construction worker died after he accidentally fell from the fourth floor of a multi-storied building in Nacharam on Tuesday.

The victim was identified as Husenappa (28), a construction worker from Baba Nagar in Nacharam and a native of Gulbarga in Karnataka. According to the police, the incident occurred around 12pm, when the victim along with other workers was taking part in the building extension work of a hospital.

“While collecting a cement bag on the fourth floor through a concrete channel lift, he accidentally fell from there. He suffered grievous bleeding injuries and was shifted to the hospital, where he died under treatment,” said an official.

The Nacharam police are investigating. The body was shifted to the Gandhi Hospital morgue for autopsy.
