Hyderabad: The City Police organised a Job Mela in the old city on Saturday. The programme, which was attended by around 2,000 women, had five companies offering 265 jobs.

City Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar, inaugurating the programme, encouraged the women to apply for the jobs and become self-dependent. The City Police were making all efforts to ensure not only safety and security of the women, but also to help them in becoming self-reliant by organizing such programmes, he said.
