Hyderabad: The Punjagutta police filed a petition in the court seeking custody of the prime accused in the international drug racket, Chukwu Ogbonna David alias Tony, who was arrested on Thursday.
The hearing is expected to be held next week. Tony along with nine persons including seven businessmen in the city was arrested by the Hyderabad police, who seized 10 grams of cocaine from them.
Tony was arrested from Pune by the Hyderabad Commissioner’s Task Force (North). The police found that Tony through his associates was supplying the drugs to around 30 persons in the city. The agents were taking rooms on rent in different hotels and supplying drugs to their regular clients.
