Hyderabad: With the State government on Tuesday permitting all designated private hospitals to start administration of Covid vaccines to individuals above 18 years, the City Police have briefed personnel to allow those heading to hospitals for vaccination during the lockdown.

City Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar said there would be no hindrance for those heading to hospital for vaccination.

“Some document/screenshot of registration for the vaccination can be shown at the check-posts. At no point of time will there be any obstruction, during relaxation nor during the lockdown period,” he said.

He added that policemen at check-posts were regularly briefed by superiors on allowing all those heading to hospitals to travel.
