Hyderabad: Cyberabad Economic Offences Wing (EOW) officials arrested a couple on charges of cheating about 41 persons across Telangana, mainly in Cyberabad limits, to the tune of Rs 9 crore promising good returns for investments in their company – Kondapalli Dairy Farm Pvt Ltd situated at Aziznagar in Moinabad.

The suspects V Subba Rao and V Kumari from Kokapet along with others had widely advertised about their investment plans in newspapers. On seeing the advertisement, interested people contacted them.

Police said the suspects promised huge returns between Rs 2 and Rs 5 lakhs per month. Later, the investors visited the dairy farm where the suspects explored their milk business by showing shed and buffaloes and cows in the shed and milk processing unit machine.
