Hyderabad: Couple attempts suicide, teenager dies
According to the police, the boy aged 17 years lived at Yousufguda and was pursuing intermediate.
Hyderabad: A teenager hanged himself to death while his 20 year old girl friend attempted suicide at Jubilee Hills. The incident which happened on Friday night came to light on Sunday morning.
According to the police, the boy aged 17 years lived at Yousufguda and was pursuing intermediate. He befriended a 20 year old woman who works in the film industry and stays in the same colony.
A few months ago the teenager and the woman got acquainted through Facebook and developed a friendship. A month ago, both of them reportedly got married in the house of Neelima and have been staying together.
“Some issues arose between them following which the boy hanged himself to the ceiling fan in the house on Friday and ended his life. On noticing him hanging, the woman also tried to committed suicide by hanging to another ceiling fan in the house, however the rope broke and the woman fell down injuring herself,” said P Chandrasekhar, sub inspector Jubilee Hills.
On information the Jubilee Hills police shifted the body to the Osmania General Hospital and the injured woman to a hospital for treatment. A case is registered by the police and an investigation going on.
