Hyderabad couple deaths: Man dies by suicide, wife dies hours later

A 28-year-old man allegedly died by suicide after coming under a moving train on the Secunderabad-Moulali railway line on Thursday. Hours later, his wife allegedly died after consuming an unidentified pesticide at their Lalapet residence. GRP are investigating.

Hyderabad: In a tragic incident, a 28-year-old man, Sharanappa, allegedly died by suicide after coming under an unidentified train near the Secunderabad–Moulali railway line on Thursday morning.

Hours later, his wife Laxmi allegedly died after consuming unknown pesticide at their residence in Lalapet.

Government Railway Police said the couple had reportedly been facing marital disputes for some time. Sharanappa had left home around 7 am, and he was subsequently found dead on the rail track.

The Government Railway Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the deaths.
