Hyderabad couple goes missing during Switzerland vacation
A couple from Hyderabad's Cherlapally has been reported missing after losing contact with their family during a vacation in Switzerland. Their mobile phones have remained switched off for over 20 days, and the Charlapalli police have launched an investigation.
Hyderabad: A couple from the city has been reported missing after losing contact with their family during a vacation in Switzerland, prompting the city police to launch an investigation.
The missing couple has been identified as Pabba Chandrasekhar and his wife, Pabba Swapna, residents of Cherlapally.
According to the information available, the couple stayed in touch with their family for the first few days after reaching Switzerland, but all communication abruptly stopped. Their mobile phones have remained switched off for over 20 days.
The matter came to light after the couple’s daughter, Pabba Shreya, lodged a missing complaint at the Charlapalli Police Station on July 9, stating that she had been unable to reach her parents for more than three weeks.
Based on her complaint, the Charlapalli police have registered a missing case and are investigating.
Officials said they are verifying whether the couple is still in Switzerland and are coordinating with the authorities concerned to establish their whereabouts.
