Hyderabad: The Director of Public Health and Family Welfare on Friday issued orders revoking the permission given to Virinchi Hospitals, Banjara Hills to treat Covid-19 patients.
This was in the wake of a complaint received from relatives of one Vamsi Krishna of Nalgonda district regarding medical negligence by doctors and staff, saying that they were violating treatment protocols. The DPH said a show cause notice was issued to the hospital asking for an explanation within 24 hours. With the hospital failing to submit any explanation within the stipulated time, the permission given for providing Covid-19 treatment was being revoked, the orders said.
