Hyderabad CP Anjani Kumar inaugurates Job Connect programme
The job mela which was inaugurated at Anwar Ul Uloom Degree College, Mallepally, by Hyderabad Police Commissioner, Anjani Kumar on Saturday, had 17 companies coming up with 2,501 jobs.

Hyderabad: Around 2,500 unemployed youth registered their names for the Job Connect programme of the west zone police in Habeeb Nagar police station limits.
The job mela which was inaugurated at Anwar Ul Uloom Degree College, Mallepally, by Hyderabad Police Commissioner, Anjani Kumar on Saturday, had 17 companies coming up with 2,501 jobs. The job mela program is run by Hyderabad City Police and TMI Foundation Trust. AR Srinivas, Joint Commissioner of Police, west zone, was also present at the inaugural.
Anjani Kumar said this was the first job fair to be conducted in the west zone limits in the year 2021. Last year, the programme could not be actively conducted due to coronavirus but with the effect of the pandemic getting reduced, the job fair was taken up with all prescribed guidelines and precautions, he said. “We have been able to provide employment to 15,000 people in the last three years through these events,” Anjani Kumar added.
