Hyderabad CP inspects security at Mecca Masjid ahead of Ramzan
Hyderabad Commissioner of Police VC Sajjanar inspected security arrangements at Mecca Masjid and the Charminar area ahead of Ramzan, stating that adequate police deployment, surveillance cameras and special teams were in place to ensure safety and smooth conduct of activities

Hyderabad: Hyderabad Commissioner of Police, VC Sajjanar, along with other police officials, visited the Mecca Masjid at Charminar on Tuesday in view of the forthcoming Ramzan month, and inspected security arrangements.
Speaking to the media, Sajjanar said that all arrangements are made in coordination with other departments for the smooth conduct of the programs at the mosque and the markets. He said that an adequate police force is deployed to oversee the safety and security of the citizens.
The Hyderabad CP said that special teams will keep a watch on the unsocial elements in the markets while She teams will conduct decoy operations. He said that additional surveillance cameras were installed around the Charminar and Mecca Masjid, and a special team will monitor the feed from the control room at Charminar ACP office and the main command and control center.
He appealed to the people to cooperate with the police and inform them if they come across suspicious activity.
