Hyderabad: Confederation of Real Estate Developers’ Associations of India (CREDAI), Hyderabad’s 11 edition of property show will be conducted from February 11 to 13 at Hitex, Madhapur. The three-day event will present only TS-RERA approved integrated townships, apartment complexes, gated communities, villas, green buildings with special impetus on retail and commercial complexes.
This year, the property show has bigger sized stalls, more open space, bigger corridors, and a big lounge for meetings due to Covid protocols. Addressing the media on Thursday, CREDAI Hyderabad president P Ramakrishna Rao said besides stable government and innovative policies like TS-iPASS, availability of ample, plug-n-play office infrastructure at reasonable pricing is further attracting more companies to set up office bases in the city.
Rising income levels and the high aspirations of the younger generation is fuelling real estate. The average age of people investing in real estate currently is 35 years. Even the demand for the size of the apartments is gradually increasing as pandemic has forced a hybrid work culture, he said.
CREDAI General Secretary V Rajashekhar Reddy said in the near future, Hyderabad will be home to three data centres with an approximate investment of Rs 20,761 crore by Amazon Data Services, a smart data centre by National Payments Corporation of India (NCPI), Global shared services centre by Goldman Sacs, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA).
He said recently seven companies opened their units with an investment to the tune of Rs 265 crore leading to the creation of 1,300 jobs in the healthcare industry. Hyderabad has a comprehensive ecosystem for the aerospace and defence industry, electronics, and pharma sector, he added.
CREDAI Hyderabad Treasurer Aditya Gowra urged the State government to focus on effective implementation of grid policy as most companies were looking at having three to four branches in the city, than a single head office in a particular area. This was specifically being done due to the Covid pandemic and ensuring optimum utilisation of their manpower. Government should consider reducing the conversion fee from industrial use to IT use lands for triggering more constructions in different zones of the city, he suggested.
