Hyderabad: Hyderabad Cricket Association Secretary Jeevan Reddy expressed confidence that the Association is on the path to revival, assuring stakeholders that “good days will be back soon.”
“My doors are always open. Any club secretary with a grievance can approach me directly during office hours. As Secretary and Chief Executive of the Association, I will ensure that all legally valid concerns are addressed promptly,” Reddy stated at a meeting of all the club secretaries of the affiliated units.
Reddy urged all affiliated clubs to digitize players’ birth certificates and link them with Aadhaar to bring credibility and uniformity to player records.
The HCA Secretary also announced that HCA has engaged the services of reputed technology firm Sportsmechanics, which is associated with the BCCI, to enhance transparency and accountability across all affiliated units.
Reddy agreed to reduce the four-day league matches to three-day games, following a consensus among stakeholders.
“I believe this is a humble beginning. With the active support of club secretaries, who are genuinely interested in the growth of the game, we will work together to put Hyderabad cricket back on track by conducting leagues and tournaments strictly as per schedule,” the HCA official said.
