Hyderabad Cybercrime Police books YouTube channels over minor exploitation
Hyderabad Cybercrime Police have booked a case against YouTube channels E96TV and Viral Hub_007 for airing interviews involving minors. The videos went viral, prompting legal action under the IT Act, BNS, and POCSO Act, with strict measures promised.

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Cybercrime Police have booked a case against two YouTube channels for allegedly broadcasting objectionable content involving minors.
As per available information, the channels, E96TV and Viral Hub_007 , had recently aired an interview involving a minor couple with highly objectionable content.
The videos of the interviews went viral on various social media platforms, prompting the Cybercrime Unit to register a case under sections of the IT Act, BNS, and POCSO Act against the channels.
City Police Commissioner VC Sajjanar warned that strict action would be taken against anyone involved in producing or uploading such content with minors.
“Cases will be registered as per law against such offenders. Such actions amount to violations under the POCSO Act and the Juvenile Justice Act. Involving minors in such content constitutes child exploitation,” he said.
