Hyderabad Cybercrime police file case over derogatory posts against CM, Police Commissioner

Hyderabad Cybercrime police registered a case against unidentified individuals for posting derogatory remarks and objectionable content on social media targeting Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and Police Commissioner V.C. Sajjanar.

Hyderabad: A case has been registered by the Hyderabad Cybercrime officials against unidentified individuals for allegedly posting objectionable content on social media targeting Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy and senior police officials.

The suspects allegedly made derogatory remarks on Facebook against Revanth Reddy and Hyderabad Police Commissioner VC Sajjanar. The controversy arose after a photograph of both leaders was shared online with abusive and inappropriate captions.

Based on a complaint lodged by Constable Srikant Naik, the police took suo motu cognisance and registered a case. Cybercrime officials have started an investigation and are using technical evidence to trace and identify the suspects.
