Hyderabad: Ravinder Nandanoori, founder of Hyderabad Cyclists Group (HCG), walked 5 hours and 40 minutes non-stop to raise funds to serve the poor. Helping him in the charity work were the other members of HCG.

On Sunday, Ravinder Nandanoori along with Marri Laxman Reddy, Prabhakar Rao, Bheem Singh, Praveen Gadila, Pranav Reddy, D Ravi Kumar, Prashanth Reddy, Paramjeet Singh and D Bhasker Reddy distributed ration to 100 families at Harijan Basti Alwal.

Most of the families in the bastis were in crisis due to Covid-19 as many had lost their jobs. Those included daily wages labourers, maids and migrant labourers. “We conducted a survey and we saw most of the people staying in this area needed help, and so we distributed the ration to the families on Sunday,’’ said Ravinder.
