On Sunday, Ravinder Nandanoori along with Marri Laxman Reddy, Prabhakar Rao, Bheem Singh, Praveen Gadila, Pranav Reddy, D Ravi Kumar, Prashanth Reddy, Paramjeet Singh and D Bhasker Reddy distributed ration to 100 families at Harijan Basti Alwal.
Most of the families in the bastis were in crisis due to Covid-19 as many had lost their jobs. Those included daily wages labourers, maids and migrant labourers. “We conducted a survey and we saw most of the people staying in this area needed help, and so we distributed the ration to the families on Sunday,’’ said Ravinder.
