Hyderabad: Degree student dies by suicide in hostel room at Narayanguda

Hyderabad: A 20-year-old degree student died by suicide in his hostel room in Narayanaguda on Wednesday. The reason for the suicide was not known, police said.

According to the police, Praveen Kumar’s friends said he was upset over an unknown issue for the past few days and mostly stayed isolated. He died by hanging from the ceiling fan in the hostel room in the absence of his room mates in the early hours.

He was found dead by the hostel staff, who alerted the hostel management and the police. On information, the Narayanaguda police reached the spot and took up an investigation.
