Hyderabad: Dispute over girl ends in murder of minor boy in Kapra
A 16-year-old boy from Neredmet was allegedly beaten to death by a group of teens in Kapra, Kushaiguda, after a dispute over messaging a girl. Police have registered a case and are investigating to identify the attackers
Hyderabad: A dispute allegedly over a girl ended in the killing of a teenage boy at Kapra in Kushaiguda on Thursday night.
According to the police, the 16-year-old victim was from Neredmet, while the 16-year-old suspect hailed from Balaji Nagar in Jawaharnagar. The victim, who had recently passed his Class 10 examinations, had been working part-time as a catering boy during his summer vacation.
On Thursday, the boy was waiting on the road near Radhika crossroads when the suspect, along with two friends, approached him, picked an argument, and thrashed him for allegedly messaging and talking to a girl over the phone.
Upon receiving the information, police rushed the boy to a private hospital, where doctors confirmed that he was brought dead.
The Kushaiguda police have registered a case and launched an investigation. Efforts are on to identify and apprehend the attackers. Forensic evidence has also been collected from the scene.
