Hyderabad: A unique art exhibition of ‘Diverse Voices: Art Beyond Boundaries’ showcasing about 100 artworks by Neurodiverse artists was inaugurated at Salar Jung Museum on Saturday.
The exhibition, being organised by Ministry of Culture and curated by Dr. Atiya Amjad, would be on till October 27. The art exhibition encompasses a diverse range of mediums, including paintings, drawings, photographs, digital art, and clay/ plastic models.
Each artwork offers a peep into the world of neuro diverse artists’ worlds. Through their expressive endeavours, these artists navigate the complexities of their social environments, offering not only artistic value but also serving as a source of inspiration for many. The exhibition’s catalogue providing comprehensive overview of the showcased artworks and their creators was also released during the inauguration.
Governor Jishnu Dev Verma who inaugurated the art exhibition said he that he was touched and moved by the efforts of neuro diverse artists and said that art is something to be experienced and not explained.
Vocalist Durga Jasraj and others including Mohammed Ali Baig, Shalini Gupta, Founder Trustee, The Art Sanctuary, Director of Salarjung Museum, Ashish Goyal, Director and others were present.
