Hyderabad: The Defense Electronics Research Laboratory (DLRL), Hyderabad, a premier lab of Defence Research & Development Organization (DRDO) pioneering in design and development of state-of-the-art Electronic Warfare (EW) Systems for the armed forces and para-military services, celebrated Diamond Jubilee Day here at it’s campus in Chandrayangutta.
Speaking on the occasion, Chairman DRDO, Dr G Satheesh Reddy said it was important to always gear up to meet the continuously evolving field of electronic warfare and ever increasing requirements from all the services in this niche area.
He complemented the DLRL fraternity in their endeavors and urged the laboratory to meet the challenges and develop technologies towards meeting the expanding realms of modern warfare.
A souvenir and coffee table book capturing the six decades of DLRL’s resplendent past was released and an exhibition showcasing the journey of DLRL highlighting technologies and products was also inaugurated.
