Hyderabad: A doctor working for a private hospital was injured after a truck hit him at Kompally in Petbasheerabad here on Friday.
The doctor, identified as Ramesh, was returning home from work on his motorcycle when the incident occurred. According to the police, when Dr Ramesh reached near the bridge in Kompally, a buffalo suddenly came on the road in front of his motorcycle.
In an attempt to avoid hitting it, he lost control of the bike and fell on the road. A truck which was just behind him hit him, resulting in grievous bleeding injuries.
The Petbasheerabad police are investigating.
