Hyderabad: DRDO employee dies under suspicious circumstances

Hyderabad: A Deputy Director working with the Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) died under suspicious circumstances on Tuesday night at RCI Campus Balapur.

Colonel Rishi Deora, a native of Jaipur worked as Deputy Project Director and was staying at RCI campus Balapur along with his wife Sonia Deora. On Tuesday after dinner, Rishi and his wife were taking a walk, when he suddenly collapsed.


Col. Deora was rushed to the local hospital in RCI campus and then to nearby private hospital. He was then shifted to another hospital at Secunderabad where doctors pronounced him dead, said Balapur police sub inspector, M Krishna.

The body was later moved to the Osmania General Hospital mortuary for postmortem examination. The police registered a case.
