Hyderabad: The Pahadishareef police booked an auto-rickshaw driver for allegedly misbehaving with a woman passenger on Tuesday.
The 35-year-old woman, who works in a function hall, in her complaint told the police that she took the auto-rickshaw from Katedan to her house. However, after some distance, the auto driver took the vehicle in another direction and when the complainant confronted him, he overpowered her and misbehaved with her. She raised an alarm after which he fled the spot.
Based on the complaint, the Pahadishareef police booked a case and took up an investigation. Officials said efforts were on to identify the suspect with the help of CCTV footage in the surrounding areas.
