Hyderabad: Drug racket kingpin Tony in police custody
Hyderabad: A police team took drug racket kingpin Chukwu Ogbonna David alias Tony into custody from the Central Prison Chanchalguda for questioning on Saturday.
The court granted five day police custody of Tony to the Punjagutta police who had filed a petition. The police will be questioning Tony to know about the drug network in the city and persons whom he was supplying cocaine through his agents.
Tony, along with seven of his customers who are businessmen from the city, was arrested in connection with the drug case last week. A few more persons who got the drugs through him were also identified by the police who are now disseminating call details and WhatsApp conversations of the syndicate.
More arrests are likely to be made in the case after further questioning of Tony.
