Hyderabad: An idol installed at a Durga puja pandal as part of Navratri festivities at the Exhibition Ground in Nampally was found damaged, with the police investigating if it was an intentional act of miscreants.

The pandal organisers filed a complaint with the Begum Bazaar police, who visited the spot.
Unidentified persons are suspected to have moved the donation box aside at the puja pandal, causing the idol’s hand to fall off.
The CCTV footage is being examined.
