Hyderabad: EAGLE Force arrests man with 28 kg ganja at Abdullapurmet
The EAGLE Force arrested a Chandrayangutta resident at Abdullapurmet for allegedly smuggling ganja and seized 28 kg of the contraband. Police said he sourced the drug from Odisha and planned to sell it in Hyderabad at a higher price.
Hyderabad: The anti narcotics team EAGLE Force on Thursday caught a man who was allegedly smuggling ganja at Abdullapurmet on the city outskirts and seized 28 kilograms of ganja from him.
The arrested person Khaja Wahabuddin, a resident of Chandrayangutta, had procured the contraband from one Guru of Odisha at a price of Rs. 5000 a kilogram and planned to sell in the city for Rs. 25,000 a kilogram.
On a tip off, the EAGLE team caught Wahabuddin while he was waiting to deliver the ganja consignment to a person. A Baleno car was also seized from him.
