Hyderabad: Early morning concert to be held at Hussain Sagar

Hyderabad: An early morning public concert ‘Shubhodayam – Music Unlock Series’ is going to be held at Buddha Statue, Hussain Sagar Lake. The event is set to take place on December 12 between 7 am and 8.30 am.

Ramprapanna Bhattacharya will be performing a Sitar Recital. He will be accompanied by Thakur Harijit Singh on tabla.

The entry to the concert is free of cost. However, Rs 100 per head will be collected towards the cost of the boat to ferry music lovers to the venue. The concert is strictly by invitation only. Interested persons can book their tickets for the boat on BookMyShow.

‘Morning concerts’ is the brainchild of Akhilesh Washikar (managing partner) and tabla artiste Gajendra Shewalkar (co-founder and son of theatre personality Bhaskar Shewalkar) of city-based Tatvaa arts.

The duo has organised 18 free morning concerts so far at public parks.
