Hyderabad: Hyderabad registered a comfortable six-wicket win over Saurashtra in the fifth-round clash of the Women’s Under-23 T20 Trophy in Goa on Sunday.
Saurashtra posted 109/5 in 20 overs, with Umeshwari top-scoring with 59. In reply, Vanka Pooja and Trisha Poojitha’s crucial knocks of 43 and 42, respectively, guided Hyderabad to the target in 17 overs with six wickets in hand.
Women’s U-19 One Day
Hyderabad bowlers wreaked havoc to steer the team to an emphatic 165-run win over Chhattisgarh in the fifth-round clash of the Women’s Under-19 One Day Trophy in Kerala on Sunday.
Sanshya Gora impressed with a knock of 92, but Hyderabad were bowled out for 235 in 49.1 overs. Later, Bilvika Reddy’s remarkable figures of 4/3 and D Shravani’s 3/20 powered Hyderabad to bundle out Chhattisgarh for just 70 in 33.5 overs.
