Hyderabad: Eight arrested for drug peddling in Pet Basheerabad
Medchal Special Operations Team police arrested eight persons for alleged drug peddling during a checking drive at Suchitra Circle in Pet Basheerabad. About 4.5 grams of heroin and cocaine, along with a scooter and mobile phones, were seized.
Hyderabad: The Medchal Special Operations Team (SOT) police arrested eight persons for alleged drug peddling during a checking drive at Suchitra Circle in Pet Basheerabad on Thursday night.
According to information available, the suspects were involved in the sale and purchase of narcotics and had come to collect drugs from a local supplier identified as Mithilesh. About 4.5 grams of heroin and cocaine were seized during the operation.
Police also seized a scooter and six mobile phones from them. The arrested persons, along with the seized material, were later handed over to Pet Basheerabad police for further investigation.
