Hyderabad: Eight held for peddling, consumption of ganja

Hyderabad: Eight persons were caught by the Hyderabad Commissioner’s Task Force (west) team for allegedly peddling and consumption of ganja at Jubilee Hills on Tuesday night. The police seized two kilograms of the weed from them.
The arrested are A Shivaji (26), a peddler, K Nagaraju (22), peddler, Sai Teja (20) sub peddler, Hema Vamshi (20), sub peddler, P Srikanth (27), sub peddler, Jahangir (21), consumer, K Uday Venkat (23) consumer and Doma Rakesh (25) consumer.
According to the police, Shivaji was purchasing the weed from a man Amjad of Maharashtra and through Teja, Vamshi, Srikanth and Nagaraju selling it to customers. On a tip off, a raid was conducted and all of them caught at Srinagar colony.
