Hyderabad: An elderly woman, reportedly mentally unsound, has gone missing from her relative’s house in Nacharam, police said here on Wednesday.
The woman, S Radhamma (60), a resident of Uppal, had come to stay with her nephew in Bhavani Nagar in Nacharam two months ago. On Monday, her nephew and other family members went to their native place in the morning, leaving her at home to take rest. She is suspected to have gone out and has been missing since then.
Unable to find her, family members approached the police on Tuesday, after which the police have booked a case of missing and have taken up investigation. Footage from surveillance cameras in the surroundings is being examined.
