Hyderabad: Elderly woman robbed in Warasiguda
The unidentified assailants confine Parijatham; decamp with 30 grams of gold, cash, mobile phone
Hyderabad: Unidentified persons confined and robbed an elderly woman at her house in Parsigutta of Warasiguda on Friday.
At around 2 pm on Friday, two unidentified assailants approached the woman Parijatham (56), posing as prospective tenants seeking vacant houses. On the pretext of enquiring, the duo managed to enter the house and forcibly closed the doors, according to the police.
They confined the woman and forcibly snatched valuables from the house. The duo decamped with 30 grams of gold, Rs 6,000 in cash, and a mobile phone, the police added.
Based on a complaint, the Warasiguda police booked a case and are investigating.
