Hyderabad: Hyderabad has evolved into a multi-sector innovation hub over the past decade, according to the Hyderabad Innovation Report 2026.

Unveiled by Endiya Partners, an early-stage venture capital firm, and T-Hub, during an event held here, the report finds that the city has evolved beyond its traditional strengths to become a diversified hub for startups, Global Capability Centres (GCCs), life sciences, artificial intelligence and frontier technology.

The event – Hyderabad Capital & Startup Forum 2026 under the theme Scaling Hyderabad: The Next Phase of Innovation brought together more than 225 founders, investors, corporates, policymakers, academia, and ecosystem enablers at T-Hub.

Establishing its global prominence as a vibrant startup ecosystem, Hyderabad today is home to more than 10,000 startups, has attracted over $3 billion in venture funding since 2014, accounts for nearly 20 per cent of India’s GCC base with more than 400 centres, and hosts the country’s second-largest technology talent pool.

The report also sheds light on the enablers for Hyderabad’s growing dominance in frontier sectors like biotech & life sciences, AI, defence and space. It outlines the opportunities that will shape its next phase of growth.
