Hyderabad: Engineering student dies by suicide in Medipally hostel
A 21-year-old engineering student died by suicide at a private hostel in Medipally. She was pursuing BTech and hailed from Sircilla district. Police have registered a case and are investigating the reason behind the incident.
Hyderabad: An engineering student died by suicide at a private hostel in Medipally on Wednesday night.
The victim, G Nandini (21), was pursuing BTech third year from a private engineering college in Medipally and was staying in a hostel there, while she was a native of Sircilla district.
On Thursday morning, the hostel inmates found the girl hanging from the ceiling fan in the room and alerted the police. On being alerted, the police reached the spot and, after preliminary enquiries, shifted the body to the mortuary for post-mortem examination. A case was registered and an investigation was started to ascertain the reason for the woman ending her life.
