Hyderabad: The Indian Photo Festival – Hyderabad has announced the Open Call, inviting photographers from all over the world to submit their works for the 2021 exhibitions. The IPF 2021 will take place from November 19 to December 19 in Hyderabad. The festival showcases a wide range of photographs across all genres from around the globe with a series of events, including talks and discussions, portfolio reviews, screenings and workshops.
The 2020 edition presented works by 350 established and emerging artists from 35 countries. According to a press release, due to the ongoing pandemic, the Indian Photo Festival would be in an altered, yet adapted format, largely online, with all the interactive sessions via virtual platforms. The Print Exhibitions would be installed along the outer walking trail of the KBR Park while digital exhibitions would be showcased at the State Gallery of Art, Madhapur and some Virtual 3D exhibitions would be presented online.
Those interested can check www.indianphotofest.com/opencall for submissions, terms and conditions. The curatorial team of the festival will review the submitted works and will contact the candidate if the works are selected. The last date for submission is August 22.
