Hyderabad: Several localities of Hyderabad enjoyed moderate rainfall, after a sunny afternoon, on Sunday. The overall temperature in the city, however, rose when compared to the last two days. The maximum temperature recorded was 31.2 degrees Celsius.
Areas including, Gandipet, Shaikpet, Golconda and Kukatpally received up to 11.5 mm rainfall while Madhapur witnessed the highest rainfall of 13.8 mm. The Telangana State Development Planning Society made a forecast for light to moderate rain in the city for the next three days. The maximum temperatures in the city for a few days are expected to be in the range of 30 to 32 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperatures to be in the range of 21 to 23 degrees Celsius.
Meanwhile, the India Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for a few districts of Telangana.
Districts including Kamareddy, Nizamabad, Jagtial, Peddapalli, Karimnagar, Siddipet, Warangal Rural, Jangaon and Suryapet might experience moderate to heavy rainfall for the next two days. On Sunday, Venkatraopet in Siddipet recorded the highest rainfall of 42 mm.
