Hyderabad: Father, daughter killed in road crash
Ravinder (32) and his 13-year-old daughter Krupa died when a concrete mixer allegedly hit their bike from behind near Chevella. Police are investigating the incident.
Hyderabad: A tragic road accident claimed the lives of a father and his young daughter on the Hyderabad–Bijapur highway near Chevella on Monday night.
The victims have been identified as Ravinder (32), a resident of Birelli village in Kotpally mandal of Vikarabad district, and his daughter Krupa (13), a Grade VII student at a Gurukul School at Tolkatta village in Moinabad mandal.
According to the police, the accident occurred when Ravinder was returning home with his daughter on a two-wheeler. A concrete mixer, allegedly driven negligently, crashed into their bike from behind.
Ravinder died on the spot after being run over by the vehicle. Krupa, who suffered grievous injuries, was rushed to Chevella Government Hospital, where she was declared dead by the doctors.
The Chevella police are investigating.
