Hyderabad: Film distributor allege kidnap attempt by TDP leader’s son
The film distributor Shiva Ganesh said he was kidnapped by one Konda Reddy, son of TDP leader and from MLA from AP, Vardharaj Reddy.
Hyderabad: A film distributor claimed that an attempt was made to kidnap him by the son of a TDP leader over some financial disputes, on Tuesday night.
The film distributor Shiva Ganesh said he was kidnapped by one Konda Reddy, son of TDP leader and from MLA from AP, Vardharaj Reddy.
Shiva Ganesh claimed that Konda Reddy along with a few persons who were allegedly armed with weapons threatened and attempted to kidnap him. They also made him sign some land related documents and blank papers.
The man later approached Banjara Hills police and lodged a complaint. “It is a case of extortion. We are investigating,” said S Kalinga Rao, SHO Banjara Hills police station.
Sources said there is a dispute between Konda Reddy and Shiva Ganesh pertaining to business transactions.
The Police have registered a case.
