Hyderabad: As part of the Financial Literary Week (FLW), being held from February 14 to February 18 to disseminate financial literacy on the theme ‘Go Digital, Go Secure’ among the general public, Regional Director, Reserve Bank of India, Andhra Pradesh Telangana, K Nikhila in an event at RBI Regional Office, Hyderabad, unveiled the posters and television commercials on the theme.
The Regional Director said that this year’s Financial Literary Week will focus on three messages that include the convenience of digital transactions, security of digital transactions and protection to customers.
Chief Guest, Dr AS Ramasastri, Ex-Director, IDRBT, applauded RBI’s role in driving the nation towards secure digital services and said that despite all technological safeguards, awareness about digital products ensures the security of the system.
K Ramakrishna Rao, IAS, Special Chief Secretary, Finance, Telangana, T Srinivasa Rao, RBI Ombudsman, Hyderabad, CGMs of NABARD, SLBC Convenors of both States and other senior bankers were present.
