Hyderabad: Fire at incense sticks manufacturing unit at Gudimalkapur
The godown is located near a residential area and the workers who noticed the fire rushed out to safety

Hyderabad: A major portion of an incense sticks manufacturing and storage godown was gutted in fire at Sitaramaraju Nagar basti in Gudimalkapur on Wednesday.
No casualties were reported and officials suspect short circuit might have led to the fire.
The godown is located near a residential area and the workers who noticed the fire rushed out to safety. The locals noticed fire and thick smoke emanating from the premises alerted the police and fire department.
A fire engine doused the fire within an hour, however by which time most of the godown was damaged.
The Gudimalkapur police are investigating.
