Hyderabad: Fire breaks out at Mayfair Apartments in Begumpet
A major fire broke out at Mayfair Apartments in Prakash Nagar, Begumpet on Saturday night. The blaze, suspected to have been caused by an LPG leak, spread from the second floor to the third floor. No injuries were reported.
Hyderabad: A major fire broke out in Mayfair Apartments at Prakash Nagar in Begumpet on Saturday night.
No one was injured in the incident as the residents had locked the house and gone out, police said, adding that a fire caused by an LPG leak was suspected to have triggered the blaze.
The fire erupted in one of the flats located on the second floor and the raging flames soon spread to the third floor. Other residents in the apartments noticed the fire and smoke and alerted the police and fire department, after which fire personnel reached the spot and doused the flames.
The Begumpet police are investigating the incident.
