The incident occurred at Shruti Multi Speciality Hospital in Vijayanagar Colony, where an air conditioner reportedly exploded on the third floor, leading to a sudden blaze.
As flames spread quickly, patients and hospital staff rushed out of the building in fear.
Fire department personnel reached the spot promptly and brought the fire under control. None was hurt in the incident.
