Hyderabad: Fire breaks out at Quthbullapur GHMC circle office, staff evacuated

A fire broke out at the Quthbullapur GHMC Circle Office on Thursday, prompting staff evacuation. Firefighters quickly doused the flames. Several revenue files may have been destroyed. Cause of fire and extent of damage are under investigation by Jeedimetla police

Hyderabad: A fire broke out at the Quthbullapur GHMC circle office on Thursday, triggering panic among the staff.

Employees rushed out of the building after noticing smoke and flames from the revenue section. As per available information, fire personnel arrived promptly and doused the flames and smoke quickly with the help of a fire engine.


It is suspected that several revenue files were gutted in the blaze. However, neither the municipal nor the police officials confirmed it.

The exact cause of the fire and the extent of damage were to be estimated. The Jeedimetla police are investigating.
