According to Fire officials, the fire broke out in a chair manufacturing unit in the Mallapur Industrial Area in Nacharam. The local police alerted the fire department who rushed a fire tender to the spot.
Thick smoke was emanating from the mishap site creating panic in the nearby areas. The firemen are trying to douse the flames. More fire tenders were being sent to the spot to assist the fire fighters and to control the blaze.
