Hyderabad: A minor fire broke out in the Urology Operation Theatre of Gandhi Hospital late night on Wednesday. No casualties were reported, but equipment was damaged.
According to Fire and Rescue Services officials, a short circuit is suspected to have led to the fire that broke out in the operation theatre on the third floor.
People on the hospital premises informed the management who called the fire control room.
One fire engine was immediately sent to the spot and the situation was brought under control within minutes.
Officials said nobody was injured and no casualties were reported. An estimate of the damaged material is yet to be done.
