Hyderabad: A major fire broke out in an electric bike showroom at Boduppal in Medipally on Saturday. No casualties were reported, but vehicles were damaged in the fire.

A short circuit is suspected to have been led to the fire. Fire had erupted from the showroom which sells multi-brand automobiles.

The security guards noticed thick smoke from the showroom and immediately alerted the fire department and police. The showroom authorities, too, were informed.

Fire engines rushed to the spot and doused it within two hours. The estimation of the property damaged was to be known. The Medipally police are investigating.
