Hyderabad: Five arrested in a murder case

Hyderabad: The Mangalhat police arrested five persons in connection with the murder of one Rushab Agarwal, reported on Wednesday.
The arrested are Munna Singh (31), Laddu Singh (30), Maddur Pranaya Kumar (30), Thippani Uday Kiran (20) and Kushangal Om Prakash (20). Three others involved in the case are absconding.
According to the police, Munna Singh, the prime suspect in the case, is a resident of Mangalhat and previously involved in a case of extortion.
Recently, on an occasion. Laddu Singh introduced the victim Rushab to Munna Singh. “During the conversation, Rushab told Munna Singh that he was recently released from Central Prison Cherlapally. Munna grew suspicious about the intention of Rushab and assumed the latter had plans to kill him. Munna along with his associates kidnapped and brutally tortured Rushad to extract more information leading to his death,” said Additional DCP (Golconda zone), B Krishan Goud.
All the five persons are produced before the court and remanded.
