Hyderabad: A local court on Tuesday sentenced a man to one year imprisonment and four others to six months imprisonment in a gaming case of Adibatla reported in 2018. The court also imposed fines on them.

The convicted persons are S.Sundar, sentenced to one year imprisonment, and T.Srinivas, B.Bhoomaiah, A.Lakshman Kumar and Mohd.Sadiq, to six months imprisonment.

They were arrested in February 2018, while playing cards. The Adibatla police booked a case and arrested them. Rachakonda Police Commissioner Mahesh Bhagwat appreciated the investigation officer and team for their efforts in securing conviction in the case.
